Seasons in Kyoto

Seasons in Kyoto is a 1000-piece puzzle from eeBoo, and the artist is Jennifer Potter. I really enjoy eeBoo puzzles and this was no exception! The pastel color palette is a bit different than what I normally gravitate to but I found it soothing and beautiful. I love the interesting buildings and the variety of flowers.

Puzzling is not only fun for me but also quiets my brain and gives me some respite from my anxious thoughts. I’m so glad to have found this hobby and to be part of the puzzling community.

  1. Did you change your home page photo maybe? I always look for your photo, then thought, who is this in my reader. LOL. This is a pretty puzzle. I’m not into pastels, so glad to hear you enjoyed it. If I see it in a puzzle exchange, I’ll try it.

    1. I changed my thumbnail a while back to be a small version of my blog header, which is a row of old books. I don’t recall what it was before that. Let me know if you are seeing something different!

      1. For some reason, I always recognize your post by your personal picture. I hadn’t recalled the row of books, so when I saw it, I thought… isn’t this Trish’s post. I’m sure it’s been there all along, I just recognize your photo more. You know, when we quickly glance through to see what posts there are, we recognize things.

          1. Me too. Hey, do you have a puzzle board? My sister sent me an ALL4Jigs as a gift. I don’t like the grey background they use or the wood, it’s not sanded down. I like the idea of having a board that rotates and tilts. So, I’m trying to see what people have and like. I actually don’t mind puzzling on my table. I went to the picture framing store and bought a white mat, I puzzle on that. Although, those Magnolia, Yazz and Elewhite puzzles are so tall… that’s when a rotating puzzle board would be good.

          2. I have a Playboda 1500-piece rotating puzzle board. It’s white with a hard surface and I sit it on my coffee table so I can puzzle at my couch in front of the TV. I love it but it doesn’t tilt. They do sell a tilting one that has what they call a soft white surface.

          3. Ok, thanks. I’ll look that one up. I think it’s more critical to rotate for longer puzzles than tilt. I like the white background, so any puzzle stands out when we are working on it. Thanks for sharing. I think you’ve done a Ravensburger 1500, would that fit on this puzzle board?
