Travel is a 1000-piece puzzle from Cavallini, which is a new-to-me brand. It comes in a cylinder and has a cloth drawstring bag to hold the pieces. There was also a nice poster.
I thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle. I am very drawn to grid puzzles like this, and I also love putting together words in puzzles. It was easy to sort the pieces by color, and then I just worked on whatever caught my eye.
What destination on this puzzle would you most like to visit? My initial answer was London, but upon further reflection, I think Australia or New Zealand would be amazing!

This looks like a great fun puzzle. I haven’t been off the east coast of the USA so I’d be glad to go anywhere!
I’ve heard of the Cavelini brand but I usually pass on their puzzles since they are portrait rather than landscape oriented and also because they do not use traditional square or rectangle boxes.

I ended up doing the puzzle sideways since it’s a portrait style. I didn’t mind it too much. The packaging is definitely harder to store than a regular box!

that’s exactly why I don’t like those tubes, it has too much of a “footprint” on a closet shelf or bookcase or shelving unit.
It’s when companies make design designs like that, that makes me wonder if those people puzzle and/or how they store their stash of puzzles. Shouldn’t they have realized that packaging like that is such a space waster when it comes to storing the puzzle?
It’s so interesting to me all the ways we puzzle and how our brains work. I don’t think I could puzzle sideways, I’d feel disoriented not looking at the image right side up.
